Apprenticeships & Opportunities: An apprenticeship is a paid job where the temporary employee learns and gains valuable experiences that s/he can add to their Rèsumè. Alongside on-the-job training, apprentices spend at least 20% of their working hours completing classroom-based learning with a college, university or training provider which leads to a nationally recognized qualification.

In order for a youth to qualify for Apprenticeships & Opportunities, s/he must be able to

Self-govern their behavior

Have passing grades of 75% (C+) or higher if Youth/Student is still in high school
-
Have passing grades of 85% (B+) or higher if Youth/Student is attending college
-
Must be willing to follow directions within the bounds of the program
-
Must have a professional copy of their Rèsumè that they created in the Workplace Readiness Module

All prospective apprentices must write a 2,500 word essay

All prospective Youth/Students must have completed Levels 1 - 3 of the Case Management Process (NO EXCEPTIONS)

MUST OBTAIN A WORK PERMIT if Youth/Student is age 16 or younger
